Lesson Series

Practical Clean Language

In this course Judy Rees has distilled more than ten years of teaching Clean Language to practical agents of change into under three hours of straightforward video lessons.

What you are going to learn

Practical Clean Language

Clean Language, created by the late David Grove, is a precision toolkit for uncovering the "unknown knowns" that drive people's thinking and behavior. It works especially well in messy, fuzzy, complex situations. Expert communicators love it because it helps them to understand how what they do works, while taking their skills to a new level.

You will choose more effective questions to seek specific information, while reducing unintended bias. You will learn how to be more present in conversations, listening in a more empowering way and appreciating people more.
Throughout this course you will:
  • Harvest information from another person: what they know, what they think, how they feel
  • Explore “unknown knowns” – the deeper things that people don’t realize that they know – respectfully
  • Shift someone’s emotional state
  • Enhance relationships between people – even people in conflict.

Clean Treasure Trove

“I was never certain of exactly what is a ‘trove’, but for my purposes Judy’s training must claim that moniker. I’m loving it and finding I possess a quiet self-assurance when listening to people. This energy enhances my receptivity and I feel more available to connect. I know emotions are viral, and this connection I believe is two-way. I’m grateful for the program.”
